THE WITCH IN THE KITCHEN

There’s a witch in the kitchen

down at my school.

A mystical woman

named Mrs. O’Ghoul.

She rides on a broom

and lives under a stoop,

and brews a concoction

called Mystery Soup.

Her kettle is filled

with live snakes and dead worms.

And gremlins and dwarfs,

and young warlocks with germs.

Her potion of herbs

includes spiders and ants,

and those who don’t drink it,

she swats in the pants.

But when she gets hungry

and stops for a break,

She phones for a burger,

some fries and a shake.
