MY COMPUTER

My computer’s low on memory,

my battery is slow.

My software’s misconfigured,

my system’s in sleep mode.

My database is empty,

my mainframe had a crash.

My graphics aren’t translating,

my zip is in the trash.

My cords are disconnected,

my screen is going blank.

My network has a virus,

my power source just sank.

My digital equipment

destroyed all my input.

I lost what I was storing

and now my goose is cooked.

The computer I’m referring to

is one I’ve had for years.

Not the one I do my homework on

but the one between my ears.
