THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT

The legend of Bigfoot

is known wide and far.

Some call it a fable,

a myth most bizarre.

But I’ve met the creature

and this is no spoof.

I lived through the terror.

I gathered the proof.

He crept up behind me

and grabbed me one night.

He grunted and groaned

as I tensed up in fright.

He left giant footprints.

He hit me with stones.

He looked like an ape-man.

He rattled my bones.

He walked on two legs.

He was twenty feet high.

He smelled like a skunk

but I didn’t ask why.

He jerked me around.

He was pulling my leg.

He walloped my forehead,

which left a goose egg.

For sure he was hunting

and I was his prey

until I yelled, “Boo”

and scared Bigfoot away.
